Here is her LJ entry, reproduced at her request:
The Making Light party shall be on Friday [the best date according to the calculometermancy]
--Starting about 9:30pm—but the real-true start will be when the masquerade is done: many MLers will be in the audience or on stage (and that’s a priority and a must-see, especially if you haven’t been to a Worldcon masquerade before).
--ending when it ends—maybe a bit earlier than that, we’ll see.
--It will be in a regular room at the Denvention Party Hotel.
--Room number to be announced / LJ’d / twittered / IM’d / posted here Wednesday, after arrival in Denver. While it isn’t a closed party, it won’t be openly promoted at the con. Cryptically promoted—yes. Lightbulbs are a clue. Also, there’ll be note for “Making Light” on the people-note-connections board thingy.
--Abi can be at the party through the magic of technologies.
UPDATE August 4, 2008:
How to find the party? Bright yellow “Fluorosphere” Buttons made by Lee (Thank You!) will be at the Starcat Designs table, next to Instant Attitudes, in the Dealers’ Room. They have “Fluorosphere” and a lightbulb, and room to write your name.
UPDATE August 5, 2008:
We need three bodies.
